Rainforest themed baby mobile lovingly made in Fort Collins, CO. Each mobile is made with a mixture of rainforest themed plants and animals cut from dichroic acrylic hung from the unique spiraling arms of steam bent strips of hickory. These unique creatures are covered in a dichroic film that changes color depending on the viewing angle, creating a whimsical rainforest scene that is continually changing.

MATERIALS

The rainforest creatures are cut from sheets of ⅛” thick clear acrylic coated with a dichroic film in 3 color varieties. Each piece of dichroic film changes color depending on view angle. Each creature is attached to the spiraling arms with a clear monofilament line and latching wire hook so they can be easily installed and removed as needed.

The spiraling arms of the chandelier are made from solid strips of 3/16” thick hickory softened in a steam box and then wrapped around a form to lock in a uniquely organic form. Joining the arms is a steel bracket designed to accept a pendant light upgrade for continued enjoyment long into the future.

Does not include crib or ceiling mounting hardware.
